Nutrition Tracker - Plate Hero

Plate Hero focuses on the needs of users to determine nutrition goals, exercise regimens, and will integrate these to provide a complete experience.

To provide a simple interface, which will help users easily integrate meal and workout planning.

Anyone between the ages of 10 and 70 who is interested in planning meals and workouts and would like to integrate activities.

Customization and providing accurate nutrition values for undefined content that might be local to certain regions.

User Research

We’d like to understand what we can do to improve the experiences of meal planning and workout planning and make them simple and effective. We want to make the experience seamless and quick, and would like to understand where users spend most of their time.

 

Type of Research : Unmoderated usability study

Location: Remote (India, USA, UK)

Date: Sessions took place on July 27th to July 28th 2022 from 3pm to 7pm

Participants: 7 participants (3 female, 3 male, 1 non-binary)

Session Length: 30 minutes per participant

Impact:

Users liked the simplistic design, ease of access, and flow. Adding more customization based on user feedback was a valuable takeaway for me.

What I learned:

This project solidified my understand of the UX design process. The steps involving personas, user journeys, competitive audits, prototypes, and usability testing covered a lot of ground. I will take this knowledge and apply it in other projects as well.

Next Steps:

Improve the prototype by including more detailed and accurate information.

Modify navigation and include detailed actions.

Test the design with different groups.
