About Ashwin Govindaraj
Born in Madras, Ashwin was always destined for great things. In his lifetime, he oversaw the rise of smartphones, electric cars, renewable energy, Pokemon Go, Justin Bieber, the internet, and flying dinosaurs.

Ashwin enjoys running, reading, spending time with family, playing, scheming grand schemes for the universe, and designing.
On a more professional note, I completed my master's degree in Management Information Systems. I worked as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, ETL Developer, and ESL Instructor.

My areas of expertise include Data management, Data Visualization, Planning and Administration, Web Analytics, Marketing, Writing, and Teaching,
DATA VISUALIZATION AND ANALYTICS
I have designed user interfaces, tools, dashboards, and marketing reports using Tableau. I like developing different styles of dashboards and reports to effectively deliver information.

Data warehousing, Data Analytics, Web Analytics, Data extraction and cleansing are my other areas of expertise. I also design art in Adobe Illustrator.
WRITING AND TEACHING
I thoroughly enjoy writing. As a sports journalist, I covered events such as the 2012 Olympics, Cricket tours, Hockey matches, and Indian athletic events. My personal blog is more of a journal of all my experiences.

I have served as a volunteer teacher at organisations in India, USA, Kenya, and Uganda. I worked as an ESL teacher in Ecuador.
